La Mejorana Grazalema.

“We had a marvellous stay at La Mejorana. It is a beautiful, old hotel with lovely en suite rooms and a fabulous communal sitting area with an open fire at night and a sunny terrace, swimming pool and views by day. The owner and other staff members are kind, helpful and welcoming. There is a wealth of information about the area provided and the continental breakfast each morning was lovely and plentiful. I would 100% recommend staying at La Mejorana and in Grazalema. It is one of the loveliest places I’ve ever stayed. Tips for other travellers I would thoroughly advise doing some of the circular walks around Grazalema. We did two days walking and didn’t need a car for either. They were tough but the paths are generally well marked (we had a written guide by the excellent Guy Hunter-Watts but the hotel has lots of guides and maps too) and the views were breathtaking. Check the weather forecast (the Spanish Met office seemed very accurate) too before you go. We were blessed in March with clear blue skies and warm sunshine”

“Beautiful guest house in Grazalema. Andres and Ana made sure we were well looked after for the three nights we stayed. The facilities are simple with spacious patios and a pool area. The surrounding area is perfect for hiking and Grazalema has plenty of great options for eating. I would recommend this place to anyone.”

“The hotel is very beautiful, with antique furnishings, and the terrace overlooking the pool and valley is the perfect place to enjoy an aperitif with a view. The room is spacious, clean, and the bed is comfortable. Breakfast is carefully prepared and has everything you could wish for. Lastly, and I believe what truly makes the hotel special, is the kindness and attentiveness of the host. His love for his work and for Grazalema is evident. He knows how to recommend excursions based on personal interests and makes you feel at home. It was a real pleasure staying at La Mejorana, and we are grateful to have found such a kind host. “A charming small B&B well located in this spectacularly situated village. Andreas is very helpful in advising on excursions, restaurants etc. There is a comfortable lounge and facilities for making tea during the day. Breakfast is simple but tasty. Our tarrif included picnic lunches for half of the days which was very useful. This has been a great base for walking days and visits to Ronda and the Neolithic/ paleolithic caves etc. We feel very fortunate to have found it.”
